| | An Exhibition of work by Pat Niemann

The human body and its life and death has fascinated artists of all times. This exhibition gives an insight into the work of a maker, who works across art forms. Patricia Niemann, originally a goldsmith, is interested in human fears,anthropology, theatre and all forms of body adornment - especially objects that change the silhouette of the wearer. Much of her inspiration is drawn from working in the remote North Highlands, with its wilderness, wide open spaces, the deteriorating and forming effects of the harsh weather and funeral archaeology.
